Michel Bourez remporte le Billabong Pipe Masters 2016 et Florence gagne la Triple Crown

Pipeline , Oahu/Hawaii (lundi,) (19 décembre 2016)-Michel Bourez (pyf) a remporté le BILLABONG Pipe Masters en mémoire d'Andy irons, l'étape  final sur le  Samsung Galaxy World surf League (WSL) 2016 Championship tour (CT) après avoir vaincu Kanoa Igarashi (USA) en finale. 

La victoire aujourd'hui est le meilleur résultat de la saison pour Bourez et seulement la deuxième fois que le tahitien a fait  la finale cette année. Cette victoire aujourd'hui marque aussi la troisième victoire CT de sa carrière. Bourez gagne  10 000 points et termine la saison 2016 en 6e place sur le classement Jeep.
